Free Chipotle for Soccer Lovers
Wear your gear to get free goodies

If you have visited the Seattle Sounders website this week, you know that there are all kinds of things happening. From charity events to excitement over the next match, there is news every day in the Emerald City. One piece of news that you may be interested in, especially if you are the parent of a soccer loving kid, is that Chipotle is offering youth who play soccer freebies this weekend.

On April 16, Chipotle is supporting the youth who love soccer across the country by providing them with buy one, get one free deals. All you have to do is have your child wear his or her team uniform to get a free meal when you purchase an adult’s meal. The deal applies to burritos, tacos, salads, kids’ meals and bowls. Purchases must be of equal or lesser value and the promotion is limited to one per player. There is no coupon necessary in order to redeem the offer.

At the Chipotle website, it says that the offer is “for the love of the game and the beautiful kids who play it.” Kids who redeem the offer must be age 14 or younger. Chipotle already demonstrates a commitment to healthy foods, the environment and local ingredients whenever possible. They are proud to run healthy restaurants that actually cook meals with fresh ingredients rather than bagging them up and reheating or frying them, and they are a favorite of many parents because of their practices and the foods they offer. They also demonstrate their support of children in other ways, too. They are known to issue free meal coupons to libraries for reading programs that encourage children, and sometimes even adults, to read throughout the summer.

Keep in mind that this offer is only at participating locations. Check with your local Chipotle restaurant to ensure that they are participating if you would like to take advantage of the offer. You can make it extra fun by watching Saturday’s match with your kids while or after you eat, and you can add an educational aspect to your outing by checking out the resources on the Chipotle website that showcase how the company helps the environment through packaging choices and recycling, the details on what “pasture-raised” means and much more.
