  • Since April 23 and his Epic Tide-Turning 11-Pitch-At-Bat Home Run, you can argue that Kyle Seager has been the best third baseman in the game.  11 HR, .897 OPS.

 

  • And Mike Zunino, defensive catcher, seems to provide a little help with the bat, too.

 

  • Erasmo Ramirez exits, stage right.  Taijuan Walker enters.  [We think.]

 

  • Jack Marder makes himself relevant again.

Seager is exactly the kind of guy you extend right now. In the 4 seasons he's seen part or all of, his average has been .258-.259-.260-.260! His OBP has been .312-.316-.338-.334 and his slugging has gone .379-.423-.426-.469! He has learned to stalk pitches.
