I love that he does this.
When Brad Evans comes to mind, what do you immediately think about? Probably soccer. Maybe the Seattle Sounders. But what about humanitarian? It should come to mind for fans who know Evans well. He was voted Humanitarian of the Year by the Sounders in 2015, and he was a runner up for the same award throughout the entire MLS. Evans is widely known for his charitable efforts, particularly those surrounding animals. He and his wife are self-described animal lovers and they believe in speaking for creatures that don’t have a voice of their own.
That’s why they both hope that the people of Seattle come out to support their cause, Puts for Pets, on Thursday, February 25th. The event will be at Flatstick Pub in Kirkland. It takes place from 6 to 8:30 PM that evening. It will be the second annual event of its kind. The fun part of the night is that you get to play putt putt golf with the Seattle Sounders, Brad Evans and his wife, Becky. You’ll also get great food, since it’s being catered by Chipotle. You get to bid on items selling to benefit Seattle Humane, too. For all of this, it’s just $75 per ticket for the cause. Your ticket includes your meal, admission, golf and even meeting the Sounders, which is the highlight.
For $250 VIP tickets, you can contribute even more to the cause and get a jersey signed by Brad Evans. Only ten of these tickets are available so be sure to get them while they are hot. As of this moment, only 5 VIP passes are left! There are also just 65 tickets left for general admission, so you might want to order those fast, too. Evans says that last year over $5,000 was raised and he hopes to raise even more this time around. He also says that people interested in the cause can follow his profiles on Facebook or Twitter to find out more. He has links to the event, Seattle Humane and other relevant information at both locations. You can also see photos of Evans with his own canine companion on his Twitter page. Evans asks fans to also share his Putts for Pets Twitter status updates to help further the cause.
