Every now and then you have to laugh at the goofy antics of our favorite athletes. It’s no surprise that the men of the Seattle Sounders love their dogs; Brad Evans is even well known for his deep love of animals. He and his wife are big animal welfare enthusiasts. Evans himself hosts the Putts for Pets benefit each year to benefit Seattle Humane, which won him the Humanitarian of the Year Award last year.

On National Puppy Day, the Sounders took to social media to celebrate their love of furry four-legged creatures. They did the same thing last fall during National Dog Day, but these are all-new photos of the players having fun with their favorite animals. Stefan Frei posted a Wrinkle Wednesday pic of his dog while Jordan Morris shared one of his as well. Morris looks like he may have a Burnese and his dog looked pretty content on a deck next to a pool.

Brad Evans shared a pic of his gorgeous golden retriever, looking very relaxed on Evan’s couch. Aaron Kovar said that his dog, Bilbo, will forever be a puppy. Kovar is not sure what breed of dog Bilbo is, dubbing his breed simply “small and fluffy,” but says that he enjoys hiking and re-enacting Lord of the Rings scenes. Charlie Lyon says that his dog Roxie “hopes you are enjoying National Puppy Day as much as she is!” Be sure to visit the link to see some of the cutest pets on the Internet.

Back on National Dog Day, they were cutely dubbed “Hounds of the Sound.” Stefan Frei loves to share photos of his Shar Pei dogs, Cloi and Nala, on Wrinkle Wednesdays. Evan’s golden retriever Coto is considered the team’s official dog, and they call him the Director of Operations as well as “Cute beyond belief.” Coto has been with the team since it first began and has a pretty strong history among the various mascots in the league. Evans has even posted photos of Coto with the Sounders’ armband on, making him look even more adorable. Dylan Remick has a super cute Bernese Mountain Dog named Maverick that he shared as well. Maverick’s interests are “being huge and slobbery.”
