Cranberry juice may help prevent recurrences of urinary bladder infections by acidifying their one and making it harder for bacteria to stick to the bladder wall. However I'm not aware of any benefit in the gall bladder. GB medicine is kind of like horse medicine. You can't really repair it so you remove it. Fortunately you can live without it... usually by the time the GB needs to come out it hasn't been working well for quite some time and most therefore don't notice a difference. Some people develop loose stools but that is usually easily managed medically.
The key is to try to pinpoint he GB as the culprit based on the symptoms and imaging.
