That Blengino is saying Z knows not one iota about stats to get back at him for not listening to his brand of statistical analysis. I've known too many sabermetricians over the years whose first response when someone disagrees with their analysis is to assume they just didn't understand it. I think Blengino was marginalized because he, too, is type-A and defines his happiness on feeling like he gets to do things his way...on people agreeing with him...and he wouldn't give Zduriencik the last word. The boss always has the last word. You can't go blasting your boss every day because they don't like your last report.
