The Huskies were in a bind when their starting center for most of the season failed to make it on the plane, while their two strong shot blockers struggled with calls for real or imagined fouls. Does anyone know what kept Noah Dickerson from traveling? I got to see SDSU at home on Senior Night against UNLV two weeks ago; they were a strong all-around team, but a fully-manned Huskies squad could have put up a good fight. When they had to resort to Devenir Duruisseau- 30 minutes- and Dominik Dorsey to protect the paint, there was no way Dejounte and Drew were going to shoot enough threes to keep it close.
By the way- did someone tell Coach Romar that players with "D" initials play better basketball?! (o;
