Are 2 things I don't quite get after chasing videos.   Can't find video from the home opener.  The first video I loaded I saw him pushing off with his foot pointed towards the home plate end of the 3b dugout on one pitch but everything else I found showed his foot parallel to the rubber and against it.  On that one pitch (from early last year) I can understand the characterization.  He doesn't push off hard, with his knee slightly bent but I can't see how someone could characterize what I see otherwise as only his toes against the rubber.  The entire side of his foot seems to be against the rubber.  Maybe that one pitch was something he occasionally does that Pedro was alluding to.  He seems to push off a bit more with the ball of his foot but I don't think that's creating less power on the push.   Try pushing off from the heel then from the toes.   If anything I think the toes can provide more power anyway, adding the ankle bend push at the right time.

On hiding the ball better I think it's only when he winds back that he's showing the ball/grip maybe too much behind him.  His arm comes forward too quick after that on everything I see (around 12 minutes of video between 2012-16) for me to complain about revealing anything.   Maybe I'm just not seeing it though.
